I am studying in Quito, Ecuador, more accurately a suburb of Quito called Cumbaya. So far I have loved my experience here and I am actually strongly considering staying this summer to volunteer in a native community, Lumbisi. To be honest, I am starting to forget my English! The other day someone asked me a question in English and I responded “Como?” 3 times before I realized he was speaking to me in English! One thing I recommend to students trying to learn a new language is to speak as much as possible!
