Additional Opportunities Abroad
In addition to study abroad and courses abroad, LAS Global Studies often learns about other abroad opportunities that our students may want to explore to further their knowledge and understanding of global studies.

Students engage in area studies courses and field-based or language components to earn 6 to 9 credits. All of our programs in China and India are quarter-system friendly! Summer in China Students customize their experience by electing to intern, study Chinese language and culture, or enroll solely in intensive Chinese language courses. Based in the political and cultural center of Beijing or the international financial hub of Shanghai, students are poised to have a stimulating summer building their cross-cultural and professional skills inside and outside the classroom. Summer in India Our program is located in Pune, India's academic center and home to a wealth of NGOs, businesses, and research institutes. Whether studying economic development, human rights, or engineering, students tailor their summer to their interests as they complete a directed research project or work as an intern.
